How well do you know the European cruise market and what does it have to offer you?
In 2005 an estimated 480 million in commissions was paid to European Travel Agents who sold cruises
Europe is the fastest growing cruise destination in the world
3.4 million Europeans took a cruise last year and with the number of ships undertaking European itineraries growing, it is expected that 4.1m Europeans will be cruising by 2010
The second biggest passenger market in the world is the UK, closely followed by Germany, Italy, France and Spain
140+ cruise ships are deployed in European waters. Cruise lines such as Costa, MSC Cruises, NCL Freestyle Cruising and Royal Caribbean International have increased their capacity across Europe
More than 2.8 million passengers embarked on their cruises from a European port in 2005. Approximately 2.5 million (90%) were European nationals
Ultimately, selling cruises offers a huge earning potential. All you need to know is who your target market is and how to sell to them – come to the Cruise Agent Training Forum and you will learn both!
